You May Never See Another Newsletter
I’m not a techie person so imagine my irate surprise when I found out that if you use Gmail, you may never see my newsletter or anyone else’s newsletter again unless you change a few settings.
You’ll now notice that your Gmail now has 3 tabs at the top of your inbox (Primary/Social/Promotions).
To fix it so that you’ll always get my newsletters in your inbox, simply drag one of my emails from the “Promotions” tab to the “Primary Tab.” Then make sure you hit “YES” when the alert pops up.
If you don’t like the tabs, and want to remove them, follow these two easy steps:
1. Go to the gear icon (the wheel icon at the top right of your screen above your inbox) and select “Settings.”
2. Click on the “Inbox” tab and unselect all categories but the “Primary” one and then be sure to click “Save Changes.”
Remember, you will only see these changes if you use Gmail. If your email is sent to another interface (Mac, Outlook, Yahoo! etc.) your email will be delivered as usual.
I really hope from one non techie to another, that this was helpful.
See you in your inbox!
